Buddy Holly's sister, Patricia, died peacefully Wednesday night at her home near Lubbock, Texas, following a long bout with Alzheimer's Disease. She was 79. Some of you might know that I have been a huge Buddy Holly fan for a real long time. I have a Buddy Holly MySpace page that has had over 106,000 visitors and over 9,000 friends added to it. I talked to Buddy's niece, Ingrid, Thursday night. She said, I appreciate your thoughts. Mother is with her brother and her parents now. We are so glad she went peacefully in her sleep. Never sick a day. She was happy and singing until the very last minute.
R.I.P. Patricia Holley Kaiter (1929-2008)
